Trails in Guarita Park
This option of taking a guided trail came up in the last year, and I consider it very important, because many people stay in risky places and even several have already ended up dying from getting too close to the walls if they lose their balance and fall.
So with the guide, the chances will decrease to zero if people follow the guidelines properly.
Of course, it's super easy to do the trail alone, however, don't take chances and pay attention to the signs (Watch out! No Tresing!), which are encountered along the way.
Opening hours of the Parque da Guarita trails
- From April to November – Thursdays at 9am and Saturdays at 3pm.
- From December to March – Mondays at 8 am and Saturdays at 4 pm.
Difficulties of the Guarita Trails
There are different degrees of difficulty, with different sizes and durations.
But I anticipate, you will go up the hill (lol) so a little effort will be required on any trail.
Tip: Have good hiking shoes, a cap or hat, light clothes and a bottle of water. And don't forget to put on your sunscreen!
What are the trails in Parque da Guarita
First you need to get to the CAT (Tourist Service Center), is inside the park, in the parking lot, and make your appointment, being possible a group of up to 20 people.
There you will be able to directly with professional guides: ocyanologists, biologists, tourismologists, among others. Take the opportunity during your trails and question the guides, they have a lot of knowledge to share!
The cool thing about these professionals is that during the trails they will tell the history of the park, the biology and all the touristic part, a great opportunity to learn a little more about this little piece of paradise.
